Dv8oR Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 Who packs balls the ole school way?Never mind the 200 yd + specialty muzzleloadersI'm talking the powder poured in with a ball packed down there!(We know Rich (Caz) has a muzzleloader....lol....)T
GLF Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 Do they still make a ball and patch? j/k My first muzzleloader was a Hawkins kit that I finished and put together. I got my first deer with it when I was 16.
huntingfool43 Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 Haven't used a side hammer in about 8 years. Got tired of the miss fires due to condensation bringing the gun into the warm house. Bought an inline a few years ago and haven't had a problem since.Lot easyer to clean too.
