Paulywood Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Don't have all of the details yet but thought I would post it so you guys can put it on the calendar. We are planning on having around 4 speakers and it will be held in the afternoon. I don't have the speakers lined up yet so if you have any suggestions for topics I will take them into consideration. For those of you who don't know, Eagle is west of Lansing on I-96. The hall is visible from the freeway. Here is a link:http://eagleparkmichigan.org/
Paulywood Posted November 5, 2012 Author Posted November 5, 2012 Some of the ideas for topics so far are electronics, fishing meat, fishing lakers, fishing deep/deep water, and fishing after the lake rolls over. Any other suggestions?
mattmishler Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Spring Brown trout, Harbor/Mud fishing, Offshore steel head, currents effecting water. I did send you a PM about speakers.
Paulywood Posted November 5, 2012 Author Posted November 5, 2012 Got it Matt, sent you a reply. Good topics, too. I would definitely be interested in a spring brown trout talk.
whatadeal Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 How about understanding sonar readings and settings
Paulywood Posted November 13, 2012 Author Posted November 13, 2012 I talked to someone about doing a presentation on electronics. I hope to finalize the speakers soon.
Paulywood Posted November 27, 2012 Author Posted November 27, 2012 Ok, things are starting to fall into place. I have 1 confirmed speaker and 3 others that are 95%. So far topics are fishing with meat, fishing for lakers, fishing in the mud and tactics for fishing the weigh 5 fish tourneys. For the 5th speaker I am hoping to have a walleye presentation, not sure on that one yet. Plan on starting at 12 noon and finishing up around 5 pm, admission will be $10 per person and kids are free. I will post a sign-up sheet next week so I can have an idea on the number of people. Should be a good day.
fishsniffer Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 unfortunatly this has been cancelled.....http://www.greatlakesfisherman.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29763
