killerbe20 Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 8am-1pm charter, 14 for 20 mixed bag of lake trout, browns and kings. ' It was a very "sporty" trip to say the least, 35 degrees outside with 20+ mph north winds. Started on the last hill and nothing showing or biting. After a couple passes with nothing and the crew seeming up to the challenge, headed east. First bite in 120 fow and ended up working out to 200 fow and back to the hill. Did not mark a lot of fish but did see a TON of bait schools in the bottom 30 feet all the way out and back. Downriggers down 100-190, wire divers out 200ish and Blood Run 45lb coppers in 300 did all the work. Best setups were Dreamweaver 8in paddle in Chrome frog/aqua Action fly, Spin Doctor in White w/ UV Slick/aqua Action fly, Big Weenie Custom Blue Weenie and Catch-A-Bunch Mirage. Working the bottom all the way out and back in the bait schools with a downrigger/Chrome Frog set up was the number one producer. http://www.greatlakesfisherman.com/gallery/files/1/7/5/0/10-6-12.jpg' alt='10-6-12.jpg'>
