ekbelt Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 Bourbon or Scotch??? I used to be a die hard scotch fan... lately prefer a nice bourbon, its definately sweeter. Don't get me wrong... no way I would pass up a nice pour of a single malt. There are some really nice single batch bourbons out there too. Prefer on the rocks or possibly dash of H20... only way to go!
newmanstaa Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 Try a Crown Manhattan has became one of my favorites
Aaron_Mcfly Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 i enjoy bourbon neat, but scotch on ice.... BTW.... I learned the other day that the term "scotch on the rocks" isn't talking about a glass with ice and scotch but rather rocks cooled by a river or stream in order to cool the whiskey.
pbrktrt Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 A couple ice cubes and some Famous Grouse. A little bit of heaven.
JWheeler Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 Jameson Irish whiskey neat is okay, I prefer bourbon on the rocks.Been enjoying Grand Martinis latelyShot of Bombay, 3/4 shot grand marnier, 2/3 table spoon of sweetened lime juice and 2 table spoons of OJ, shaken....
Rascal Trophy Fishing Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 Tito's Vodka is my cup of tea, the best and smoothest. Add Cranberry juice on the rocks, it tops the vodka nicely.
Sly Selea Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 Laphroig quarter cask and a Drew Estate Natural.....yum.Booker's Best or Makers Mark is darn good, too
fishsniffer Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 I'm more of a brass monkey junky. (That funky monkey)
Nailer Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 I used to like the J&B Scotch, but after driving the porcelain school bus a few times from it, I just stick to the Barley Pop now.
