killerbe20 Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Mother Nature has kept us off the lake most of September but the small window of good weather today proved the fish are still there! Left the dock just before 6am, 15 for 20+, fished straight out of town 80-130 fow. Most fish came just on the outside edge of the last hill. Did not mark a ton of fish but did see a lot of bait schools. Hottest setups were Dreamweaver 8'' paddles and Spin Doctors in Green Chrome Frog, white w/mountain dew and White w/UV slick pulling Action flies in aqua sparkle and green crinkle, Big Weenie flies in mirage and custom Blue Weenie. Started with over cast skies just 3 riggers and Blood Run wire divers fishing 50 to the bottom. Once the clouds disappeared riggers tight to the bottom and added Blood Run coppers in 250 and 300 foot segments. The fish out deep are nice, clean, silver, red meat salmon. These fish are definitely next years fish and averaging 8-10 pounds. Hopefully this is a good sign for 2013! http://www.greatlakesfisherman.com/gallery/files/1/7/5/0/9-29-12.jpg' alt='9-29-12.jpg'>
