Fishing report for South Haven Sept 28 2012

Oh boy It sucked! No hits on anything tried. Fished from 180 ft all the way into pier. Talked to a person on the radio and they were heading in with no luck. One person fishing channel all day lost one. Haven't seen many reports so I thought I would pass it along. I'm heading out to Muskegon tomorrow and hopfully someone from there will put up a report.

Thanks for the update Scott. I was out of South Haven a few weeks ago and it was the same story. We are heading up to Lake Superior. Hopefully we'll have better luck.

There today as well, poor fished 140-165 marked em but no bites all deep on. Column meat spoons worked it hard

Full moon messed up the daytime bite.?

yup! I think it has something to do with it cus fishing out of holland has been tuff as well,marking tons of fish but only getting 5 to 10 bites per trip.When they decide to feed we are gonna wack em lol !

Had a fellow salmonid friend tell me today he saw in st joe fish porpoise and jump in a good number of them 200 yd off shore between pump station and chalets
