Jack Osborn
After a late start (8:00) from the dock, and working our way around a few boats in the river that didn't seem to be doing much, we set lines at 60' and headed West with some South in it. Nothing until 115 fow and a 12lb King 110' feet down on a chrome jay-plug with a red ladder back. Then went out to 130 fow before turning back in. Headed due East and again at 115' nice ripp on the wire diver (blue paddle and fly) until the line failed half way between the dipsey and the paddle. A few moments later a fair fish one for a bit a bit before he slipped off. (same chrone on red jay-plug) So 1 for three. King was still silver and full of fight. Most fish marked were on bottom (a little cooler?)Hope the weather allows another shot at 'em this week end.
