Well i just pulled the trigger on a new motor for an old starcraft.

I purchased a merc 150 opti tiller to go on a 22' 1980 starcraft ssv.

I got the boat last week and will be starting a total hull tear out and rebuild.

I laid awake all night last night just trying to get seating ideas.

This is going to be an awesome winter project.

Now does anyone here have a high H.P. tiller i would like some feed back if available.

I don't if you would call it high hp but we troll with our 90 hp 2 stroke merc. It's on a 1890 lund pro v and does the job. Kinda a pain sometimes, no assist on the steering and sometimes we have to steer with our feet when fighting doubles and tripples but there are worse problems to have.

This one has the hrdro assist. And a ill be putting a kicker with suto pilot on also.

I test drove a pro v 20' with. A 135. To see if i like the assist. It was pretty sweet.
