Kara_B_N Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Net in 100 FOW straight out and slightly north of the White Lake channel. Net was being set on 09-07-12 around 11 AM.
Boltman Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 Thanks , is it marked? Well be there this we end
Kara_B_N Posted September 13, 2012 Author Posted September 13, 2012 barely, with a single small 6in X 18in buoy. BTW Fishing was great last week in the 130 to 150 range. We would locate the bait balls and do large circles in and around them and picked up nice mixed bags of Lakers, Kings and Steel from 90 down al the way up to 40 down. Full core was the best producer.Fish were full of alewives and the females full of eggs.Good Luck.
tom Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Hitting plugs or spoons? Going out sat afternoon.
Kara_B_N Posted September 17, 2012 Author Posted September 17, 2012 Sorry I'm late with a reply. They were hitting everything. Spoons (anything green, Flounder Pounder), Wonder bread J plug, and Flies anything (Blue and Green).Hope you did well and stayed out of the net.
Boltman Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Went out Saturday early evening, not a fish to be found, waves were 4 feet and a little at7 pm, we headed in my baby was exhausted and right now she drives, so I headed it in for the night.
Talonz Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 Nets are still off Whitehall. Local bait shop (Johnsons) says they have been abandoned . There are three sets so be careful. Two out near the wreck buoy in 61 and 85 feet northwest of the channel. The other I am told is south of the channel. 6-12-2013

Saw a Coast Guard boat looking at them. I've read that only the tribal police can have them removed. I say remove them and send them the bill since they will not remove these deadly hazards. Whats the worst thing that could happen? They make millions of dollars in their casinos and can't clean up their mess?
