1000's of dead fish on Lake Erie shoreline

This has been in my area news for the last few days. Many thousands of dead fish are washing up on the Lake Erie shoreline , Canadian side.

To bad it didnt kill off the silver bass. Them things must be the cock roaches of the water if it killed carp and not the Silvers. Hope it didnt affect the walleye to badly.

i feel that way about the white perch. they worked us to death this summer. just glad i was using the lite bite slide divers, so they would trip when one of those little #$## fish would hit. if not we would have been draging them around most of the time. but from the pictures it looks mostly like sheep heads or big white bass.

I hear ya. those lite bites work really nice for small fish. I just hate the price of them.

Don't diss the white perch. 3/4of the "Lake Perch" dinners you pay top dollar for are white perch the resturaunt pays $3.00 a pound for and charges you yellow belly prices. Used to be the Zander but you don't see them much anymore.
