coralee Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Slow night 3 for 3. Benlubbs joined me and we almost broke the 20# mark for the first time for my boat this year but it stopped just short of 19. The evening and night was calm and beautiful and the sky at dark with the moon not yet risen was quite a show so it would have been worth the trip with no fish just to be out on the lake on such a nice evening. Purple Ace high took 1 in 125' of water down around 60, blue spinnie/white fly took the big guy who took the wire out over 500' and a large white paddle/white meat rig took the last one. The last 2 came around 100-90' one the way back in.
BenLubbs Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Thanks again for the ride again. It was definitely a great night our there.
N II Deep Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Nice job Bob & Ben. I hope the weather holds so I can do a night fish this weekend.
Hooked Up Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Good job guys! It was slow all over (at least in GH too 3/5)..I just counted myself fortunate to fish with my son and dad on a beautiful late Summer night:)
Just Hook'n Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Great job guys. Sometimes it's about the company and the experience. Sounds like a great night to be on the lake.
Dr Hook Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Glad the lake settled down for you. Holland buoy was reading 3-4 footers when I checked yesterday morning.
