AllenW Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 Old time fisherman, new to great lakes fishing, just got into all this last year and have been setting the boat up with downriggers and such. I was over on one of the other GL forums, but followed Dave and Ryan over here. Seems like a friendly place.. Been a HVAC tech for a bit over 40 years, so may not be able to help anybody catch fish, but might be able to help in my field. I have been fishing out of Minn and along the north shore, just made a trip over to Ashland and hope to get back there again. Not sure what I'm suppose to say here so I'll just quit rambling for now. Al
Whoopee Tyee Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 Welcome to the site. I'm a short timer too but the advice is invaluable.
Priority1 Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 Al, A warm welcome to the GLF site. We have a lot in common with our career choice.
Nailer Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 Allen, Welcome to the site. If you have questions, we can find answers. There are a bunch of friendly people here.
GLF Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 Welcome aboard Allen. Thanks for taking a minute and doing an introduction. We look forward to seeing you around.
TAKIN IT EZ Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 Welcome Al, all the guys here are more then willing to help anyone, and no question is considered dumb or goes unanswered. Rudey
AllenW Posted September 4, 2012 Author Posted September 4, 2012 Thanks for the welcomes.. I tend to normally try for Musky's come fall, but finally getting my Alumacraft Tourney sport set up for down riggers and such I should be up the north shore of Superior a few more times this fall. Going next weekend up by Silver Bay, so if anybody is out that way and see's a black TS with Walleye Central decals in the windshield, stop by and say hi. Just look for an old guy wandering aimlessly, but making good time.. Al
