fisf crazy Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 headed to ludington sun wife is gonna let me fish never fished lud or manistee pier is it pretty much the same as pier fishing elsewhere ive fished st.joe to gh so not new to it with the east winds which would be better same methods as elsewhere alewives and spoons anything i should know about any help would be nice which is more fisherman friendly thanks have a safe holiday weekend
EdB Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Talked to some guys who fished the pier today and it was slow at Ludington. There is still a lot of warm water out front. There is a NE wind today and supposed to stay east tomorrow so maybe that will cool things off around the piers.
SeaCatMich Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 I'd get to Ludington early and go out on the North pier. Glow casting spoons would be my choice.
