Fishing Leagues?

Hi Guys,

A friend who runs a tackle company asked me about fishing leagues on Lake Michigan, and I only know of a couple. He's interested in sponsoring the smaller, regular, weeknight and weekend contests, and possibly doing something to crown a Lake Michigan champion. I believe there used to be on on the Wisconsin side out of Sheboygan, but I haven't heard anything about it lately. If anyone can supply me with any info about leagues on the beautiful west side of the lake, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

Check with the guys in Holland Saugatuck area the WMFL is in that neighborhood. I believe that Some one there can give u info.

Dave here on the Wisconsin side we have a group GLSF and we have 4 fish ins each summer. And we have a on going contest through out the fishing year.

I was going to put a league together out of Two Rivers, WI this summer, but just ran out of time to get everything together. If we could get a few sponsors, I would certainly get things put together this winter and kick it off next summer.

Salmon unlimited of Wisconsin and of Illinois both have monthly "outings" through out the summer with a running points total

Ozaukee GLSF had a Thursday night league, not sure of the turn outs.
