GLF Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 Fishing pressure has stayed steady with few anglers catching whitefish over the last week as more lake trout have been caught. Anglers are fishing waters 25 to 130 feet deep for whitefish and waters up to 165 feet deep for lake trout. Most are fishing just off the access sites at Gay, Angel, Rex Terrace or Whitewater Park. Natural and artificial baits are being used with spawn the most popular for whitefish and minnows for lake trout. Most of the whitefish have been taken at night. No word on walleye or steelhead.
