A-Fishy-Anado
Very impressive trout for Lake Michigan....matter of fact that would still be a monster by superior standards!!

Nailer
I believe they got the fish in 170 fow, on a White Paddle and Mirage type fly at 140' down. The weight on 3 different scales was 31+ pounds.
Chummer
True trophy. Congratulations to the young angler and crew! Even with all the years he has to fish, I highly doubt this young man will ever catch a bigger LT. It's like shooting a 180" + buck your first season. Far Beyond Driven
So many ugly scarred up clipped up lakers around - that one's pretty much perfect. Sweet.I just raised my boat record from 14# to 16.2# on lakers; this one totally emasculates that.
Playin Hooky
Talked to the angler's uncle yesterday (I work with his wife). He said he had to help the youngster hold onto the pole as it was a long drag/fight to crank the beast to the boat--and they were BOTH tired by the end! He wasn't sure of the weight and it may not have gotten to a certified scale, but did end up with the taxidermist. Its tail went well up the side of the cooler and the cap'n was totally amazed by its size. Made the mid-teen kings they got look small!
Nailer
Jake said the certified weight came in at just over 33#.
