Muskegon weekend

Going out of muskegon all weekend. Any reports or tips? North? South? Depth? Colors?

With the buoy showing a water temp on bottom of 67.4 degrees, I'd say they are gonna be deep.

That's gotta be wrong. Ludington buoy in 55' is 52 degrees @ bottom.

But, it's probably going to be a search mission.

Go deep 130 in the morning or so and work west. Any where from 50 and down. I'm going out out of Grand Haven tomorrow morning in a small tournament. Get me a shout out on the radio. C D Marie or Buster. I'm starting in 130 and working west.

the holand bouy is rite.it would be best to go deep 180 plus thats were the fish have been taken this week.

Yup the fish were out deep. Herd a lot of reports 200+ Fow 80- 120 down on the riggers. Bloody nose seemed to be the spoon

Slow for us this morning, Went 1 for 3. First release was early in 100 FOW but nobody home. Second was in 175 FOW on a paddle/fly down at 150. That fish got farmed. Last fish was in 180 FOW as we were bringing up the same UV paddle/fly.

Took a ride on the PB&J this morning and we were able to knock down 10 fish out deep 220-250fow riggers parked at 130 and divers on 2 setting back 220-240' Fish seemed to like anything green on big paddles for us.

The boat I fish on (Draggin Balls II} went out this morning to 330 fow & went 11 for 17. I had to work but the bills need to be paid. An AM trip is on for tomorrow and I'm assuming the same game plan. 17 miles out makes for a long ride back.
