slickwater Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 When should I stop using meat rigs in the fall? Do I still use them after the salmon go shallow and are staging at the mouth of rivers? Or are they only for deep water.
jerryriggin Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Use them all the time. Peir head kings love them.

Rascal Trophy Fishing Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 That smell and taste of real fish is hard to resist, even if you're a King done feeding...lol. I see where Moonshine now offers a new plug that also has a meat rig, it's working pretty good too.
walleye621 Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 Moonshines must be a copy-cat. I have been using the meat plug for 2 seasons. I still think that the Brads Super Bait Plug tops all other meat presentations.IMHO
King Slammin' Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 Moonshines must be a copy-cat. I have been using the meat plug for 2 seasons...Is this a Scarpace[?] plug? Or something like it?
xpndbl3 Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 we caught a king on december 28th out of milwaukee while fishing for browns on a meat rig. Then in late february we catch cohos and kings on meat while using a single head 30" back from a trash can dodger
