This is NOT an accurate report, the SS Badger, in Port Ludington, where I grew up and was raised, has several options yet open to it. They can upload ash to a landfill with trucking and conveyors yet, and also keep sailing, along with re-fitting with non-coal engines, like diesel and propane gas, which would undermine it's historical significance and steam ship status. Plus cost many $$$Millions to convert, which is not fair nor prudent for this last SS on the great lakes.

Terry Brown a spokesman for the badger says ' they are stewards of the great lakes, I would like to know where he's buying his crack at in Ludington. How can dumping 500-700 tons of pollution in the lake help it,maybe he would like to come over and cut me a check for the canvas and seats I had to replace due to his beloved badgers fly ash what a joke.
