Fleas n flies

Been fishing in the BWCA in MN for the last few weeks, but heading to Grand Haven today. What's the black fly and sea flea status? Still need to run the flea flicker or can I break out my light lines again?

love the BWCA have taken 4 trips last one 7 day beautiful oh and the fleas not bad I don't think

Around Holland the there have been only a few fleas, only a little bit on mono lines. The flies have been hit or miss. There were none saturday morning, but when we went out at night there were enough to be annoying.

The fishing has been great with few if any flies. The boat my son is working on in Grand Haven has been pulling 10-20 fish every trip. Big paddles, green Ace Hi's, and Green Jeans Moonshine. 120-170 fow, 70' down early. and 100-140 mid morning. The got 2 at 18, and 1@ 20.5 last Saturday.
