monarkbro
Went out for the evening fish with two first timers with a threat of a big storm and rain. Not wanting to soak the newbies we stayed right at the mouth with no luck. After an hour and no storm, we gambled and went south to the project in 100 Fow and finally found a fish. Number one came on a five color with a yeck verdict. The second fell to a moonshine sand burr to a young lady on her first ever voyage on the big lake. Again on the five color. She wasn't sure what she was going to do,but she fought it to the back of the boat and with some nifty net work she had her first ever king. She then immediately called her mom and dad. what a great way to end an evening a double rainbow and smiles all around!!
Rascal Trophy Fishing
Nice story about the young lady and her first salmon, I like. We also had a young man aged 16 on the charter Saturday, first salmon for him too, was 16#, he fought it valiantly and for about 15 minutes, his biggest lifetime fish, and a smile to match that effort was priceless too. Thanks.
