Do I need to brine strips?

I was wondering if I need to brine the Erie derie herring strips? I used them yesterday with good results without brining.

I use em as is. Havent ever used brine ever in fact. Ive used alwives i caught at the piers on meatrigs later that day with success

No you do not need to brine strips, depending on what type of strips you are using some will benefit from brining more then others.
