rwm Posted July 20, 2012 Share Posted July 20, 2012 had a short trip out today and went 3 for 4,2 double headers. set up in 55 fow and had 2 on in 59 fow,landed both and had another double header in 62 fow was busy with the one fish and never got to the other pole before it got off.Pulled lines at 8:45 it was windy enough that we left early. 3 nice kings,biggest 15 # all on dipseys: braided mag ring back 65 on 2.5 setting 2 hits blue dlp. spoon wire reg. ring back 55 on 2.5 setting with white paddle and green seaweed fly. rwm Posted July 20, 2012 Author Share Posted July 20, 2012 the surface temp. was 71.the fish I think were out of temp because they felt warm when unhooking.dont have temp at the ball yet,the fish came at sunrise and then nothing.I would for sure start deeper tonight. SUPERTRAMP Posted July 20, 2012 Share Posted July 20, 2012 If we get a sustained easterly wind the cold water will move inshore, and the fish will come with it . 4 to 5 degrees can make a huge difference.
