Dagwood Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Fished till 9:30 and went 5 for 9 in 80-110 fow south. 3 nice mid teen kings, 1 about 5 lbs and a 7 lb steelhead. Averaged around 2.8 sog and direction did not matter.2 fish on 300 copper with a super screw and lost 2 dandies at the back of the boat.Rigger at 80 with a MS Happy MealFull core with a UV Yeager Bomb- SteelheadWire dipsey on 2 back 125 with a big white paddle and pickle sunshine fly.Ended with a double with one on the core and one on the rigger. Just ready to net and he took a little run and snap- there goes the flounder pounder and double orange crush slider. That made 4 spoons lost and one 300 cop that started unraveling and needed to be threaded thru the eyes to get it on the reel but still managed to get the fish in.Lots of boats and lots of fish at the cleaning station. Great night to be out.
