GLF Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 I got this one behind the house tonight. He came trailing behind a doe with his nose to the ground.

GLF Posted November 18, 2006 Author Posted November 18, 2006 Here are a couple of more pictures I got after my wife got home. He has an 18" outside spread. The one main beam is 21 1/2" and the one brow tine is 10". What a dagger.
GLF Posted November 18, 2006 Author Posted November 18, 2006 A good friend of mine pointed this out. I took the bottom picture in the beginning of July. Do you think these two deer are the same deer, of do they just come from the same genetics?
CaptLevi Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 Awesome buck Mike! It looks like the same as the early year pic. Notice the brow tines. The right one is larger than the left, and has a different angle than the left too.Great Season!
silver one Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 just curious. How does that berretta throw slugs with that long barrell? Or was it just grab the first gun that was availible.
GLF Posted November 29, 2006 Author Posted November 29, 2006 I have taken 8 deer with the Berretta. I use Winchester x-2 foster slugs in 2 3/4" length. You would not believe how accurate the Berretta is. I think DIRTY DOG uses his Berretta for deer hunting also. He will tell you the same thing.
DIRTY DOG Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 BELEAVE IT OR NOT mine will shoot a 4 inch group at 100 yd with my 28" smooth bore
