headshkr Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 Set lines west out of the piers in 100' at 6:30. We had our first fish on Wire Diver out 115 on 2 before 4 lines were even in. Nice 10lb King. Re set WD and DR fired with a Nice Steelie that came unleashed behind the boat. Worked out to 140' no takers. Worked back in to 90' and made the turn West again and took two more fish on 300 copper and wire diver out 125'. Took one more Steelie on DR down 60 with Blue Coyote Spoon before turning back to the East. Made our last pass West about 11:00 and 300 copper goes off burying the board, then the 200 copper goes off with another fish while trying to get the 300 board above water, as this chaos takes place the wire diver takes another rip and now we have 3 fish on with two guy's in the boat trying to drive, reel, net and avoid a mess. With all luck all 3 fish are boated with a nice 20lb king on the 300, 8lb coho on the 200 and a 10lb steelie on the wire.Ended 7 for 8 for the day. What worked (all fish came on West Troll)Chrome Frog SD with Pickled Sunshine teaser rig took 2 on 300' Copper ( Hot Ticket on our boat this year)!!!!!!!Kevorkian SD with Green Bead Mirage took 1 on 200 copperChrome Frog SD with Pickled Sunshine Teaser Rig took 2 on Wire DiverBlue Coyote Spoon took 1 on DR 60' downNatural Born Killer SD with Pickled Sunshine Fly took 1 on DR set at 75' down
Just Hook'n Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 Very impressive. It's hard enough to land a tripple with 4 guys on the boat. 2 guys - that's just awesome.
