jimcr Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 Well it cant' get much better than it is now! Took out a couple that my wife works with and what a morning , 13 for 20 and quit early for the girls . Big fish today, only one less than 10lbs. 11 kings , 1 coho , and a rainbow. We started a little slower than last weekend but it was steady from 430 til 8am. three doubles! came close to a triple but it turned out to be a drive by. 60 fow to 75 seemed to be the best depth, riggers set high early and lower later. Wire dipsys ,riggers and high boards were the ticket. 3,4,5,6,7,9 all took fish along with the wires and riggers. riggers went all but silent after the sun was higher in the sky and then it was all boards. Two big lake lures saw action , double orange crush UV( my favorite spoon), and a tequila sunrise. Flasher and flies out on 5 rods, had to keep changing out hooks as the big kings were bending them. Glad I always have a few tied ready to go. Just wish that the bite was a little later as 3am wake up times are coming hard.
