Eyefull Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 I had a great trip on Saginaw Bay Saturday. It is actually some of the best fishing in at least the last 15 years right now. The past few weeks have produced numbers of fish like never before. This week, the numbers are being backed up by size also. Saturday I had a great crew of good friends and we took home a four ticket. Two wall fish, and several at 3-6 pounds. It fealt like Lake Erie in October. We used Silver Streak spoons in both the Minis and Jr's. UV colors in chartrues, pink, purple, and Kato were all hot. A mini Kato, and a custom CJ/Eyefull spoon off Lite Bite Slide Divers also were very good on bigger fish over the corners. 85-100' back on the Walker discs/spoons, and 45-60' back on the slide divers. We were in the bottom of the deep water basin on the East side. This is the first of two hawgs this luck gal hooked up on. Here is the second. This would have been a good fish all summer, but Saturday it was just so so. A great box of fish for great friends.
N II Deep Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Nice job Tony, looks like Jeff and Jamie had a good time.
