mriversinco Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Went out of Holland this morning and yet another experience. Hit the dock a little late then had a throttle problem so had to sit out in Lk. Macatoilet for about an hour to get it fixed. Ended up getting it fixed and went out to a mad house of people. WOW, there's alot of people who are out lately and do they know how to fish a pattern and not cut people off?We did ok, ended up 6 for 10 or so. Couple of nice steelhead and the rest were kings. Here's what worked:Nice 8 pound steel on moonshine orange carbon on full core6 pound steel on double orange crush on half core12 lb, and 8 lb king on wire diver with mongolian beef at 18010 lb king on BLL kermit on diver at 1208 lb king on 250 copper with BLL green katoCouldn't buy a hit with FF and all spoons but only when we got away from the boats and the best was a straight west line from 110 to 135 just north of the pier head.
Paulywood Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 Nice job Mike and thanks for the report. One of these times you'll just be able to go out and fish, your luck has to turn around eventually.
Just Hook'n Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Nice job Mike. Glad you got out there and got the boat fixed too.
