KJ pluggin Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 After being busy all spring we finally made it out for our first trip of the year. We fished Saturday and Sunday AM from 6 to 12. On Sat. we had a mixed bag of kings and steel, and one coho and ended up 6 for 9. Our most productive water was in the 120's spread out in the water column with short cores on top, divers in the middle and 250 and 300 45# copper down deep. FF combos were working the best with white or chrome flashers and aqua or green flies. We also took a few fish with a jawbreaker spoon on a 3 color. On Sunday we had another mixed bag going 5 for 8 with 3 kings a steelhead and a laker. The kings we caught came in 70 to 100 FOW and the others came out in the 150's. Spoons worked the best for us on Sun. on 2, 3, and 7 color lead, and 150 copper. Wire divers back 100' also took a few hits with white paddles and green flies.

KJ pluggin Posted June 21, 2012 Author Posted June 21, 2012 The bank has been on fire this year from what I heard. Sturgeon bay is a great place to vacation Jim, you wouldn't be disappointed.
