Killin' It Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 To trade wild game for veggies ect.....I know you can not sell it, but can you barter it?The reason I ask is my wife is unable to eat anything with glutten and we know peoples love for salmon (that we do not have) Trade it for veggies and fruitJust wanted to make sure it was legal.
Just Hook'n Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Wait wait wait . . . Dave, you only love to catch you don't eat salmon?Common man, there are a thousand ways to prepare salmon that are delicious. You're missing out man.
Killin' It Posted June 20, 2012 Author Posted June 20, 2012 I grew up fishing kings with my father and him being a single dad we ate WAY TO MUCH of it. I can eat it.. .does not mean I enjoy it. I fish for the sport of it.
Line Dancin Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 SO what do you do with all the fish you catch?I would think the DNR would have an issue with "bartering" as it is a form of a sale. If they find out you can bet your but they will find a way to nail you.
Nailer Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 I give it away to people at work. You give then Salmon, they give you Veggies. As long as your not demanding restitution, all is good.
Rascal Trophy Fishing Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 I agree with Nailer, and would add that if you are exchanging one favor for another with friends, relatives, and co-workers, it's all good. Just don't advertise this to strangers is what I recommend.
