killerbe20 Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 Fishing has been super hot in Racine all month of June. The Last couple of weeks has seen awesome coho action transition into big kings. Limits of cohos had been easy to find but today they seemed to disappear and kings dominated the bite. The water is cold everywhere and fish seem to be from 50-70 feet, give or take. 6am-noon trip and ended 16-25ish. Blood Run Wires and 32lb copper pulling a wide variety of baits were the hot ticket today. Fish seemed to come in spurts. UV Natural Born Killer Super Slim on a 200ft 32lb copper was probably the most consistent for me.
Rascal Trophy Fishing Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Nice to hear the strong bite is going across the pond too, good work. Lake Michigan is really super this year, and what did the DNR say last winter, "the lake fishing was going to crash". I guess their barometer is off again, as usual.
