salmonslammer Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 Headed out again this morning and planned to run the same program as Wed. As we went out the channel we saw a steelhead caught off the pier so we spent an hour in front and didn't get a hit. The water was 58 out front. We pulled and ran out to 70 fow. We went 3 for three getting a steelhead in 74 fow on a mountain dew spin doctor with a green/gold fly on a mag dipsy 150 out on 1. A 14 pound king came on the same set up in 80 fow. The same set up took a coho at 120 fow. At 10:00 we pulled and went back in front of the piers for two hours losing two steelhead before catching one on a pro king bumblebee on a rigger 30 down in 42 fow. The last fish was a Laker taken on a pro king red/silver on a dipsy 50 back on 3 in 22 fow. We hope to be back out in the morning.
