Todd Tomasek Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Saturday moring I took my son ,nephew & uncle out of Linwood and headed about 3-4 miles northeast of 1&2 thanks to nice weather. Droped down in 28' water , trolled north for about 2-1/2 hours ended up in 32-34' water and it was non stop action for the kid's ! We took our 4-man limit smallest being 19" only 2 under sized fish all morning . 2 ounce bottom bouncers 35' to 55' back and meat , huckelberry , anti freeze , orange n gold whip tail blade were on fire . Sunday did not have much time so we went on a late afternoon trip out of the mouth of the river , went out to east side of island 15-16' of water and trolled east same blades same everything , only 35-45' back . took a 3 man limit with some nice fish between 3-4 pounds , and about 8 under sized ones .

Paulywood Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 Welcome and thanks for the report. I think I might drag the boat with me to work one day next week and hit Linwood in the morning after I get out. I'm glad to see a few reports from that area as it saves me from having to drive up to Au Gres and follow Frank around!
