Priority1 Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 (edited) Please take the time to remember what this holiday is all about. Our brave young men and women that made the ultimate sacrifice deserve to be remembered one day a year. Fishing is fun and a day off from work is great but if nothing else just bow your head for a minute and remember all our friends and relatives that are gone especially the ones that died for our country. Tad Pole Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 Well said Frank!,I spent my four years in the navy, and my Son who is in the Army is in kuwait right now so to celebrate this i think i will go fishing this weekend!
Chummer Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 Thanks Frank, it is part of my annual Memorial Day ritual. I placed flowers at two WW II veterans graves this week, it was my fathers and father-in-laws. Each service members grave was marked with a flag. There were a lot of flags in the cemetary!
