sjk984 Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 I see theres a small craft advisory till sat am. But the waves only say 1-3. Do you usually fish in 1-3 with out an advisory?
N II Deep Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 Yes - with out the advisory - lets hope this lays down so we can get this one in.I have 2 spoons and a fly from Sliver Streak to hand out to the first 5 or 6 boats along with zip ties for the fish caught on those. top two fish caught on those items will get choice of tee-shirt or hat.Big thanks to Sliver Streak.I'll keep every one posted on weather conditions.I'm thinking staying at the marina tonight so if you need to contact me PM me for my cell.thanks JonSMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT THROUGH SATURDAY MORNINGTODAYNORTHEAST WINDS 15 TO 25 KNOTS BECOMING NORTHWEST. Gnarf Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 west winds at 15 to 20 knots is going to produce more then 1 to 3, offshore calls for 2 to 4 and 3 to 5 so i wont even waste gas to drive out saturday morning. I dont particularly trust the nearshore forcast, ive found the offshore to be more truthfull.

Paulywood Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 I was just going to post that we are planning on fishing sunday instead of saturday.
Paulywood Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 Tough call Jon, NOAA got you again. Looks like it's fishable now and tomorrow looks worse. I would have done the same thing, though. I'll check back later today and see what it looks like.
sjk984 Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 If NOAA was that far off today hopefully they'll be wrong tomorrow to.. Its not like they'll lose their job for por performance or anything.......
plumkrazy Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 i was up this morning at 630 when the grand haven offshore started it was rough on the web cam
