Aaron_Mcfly Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 im going to buy some more inline boards and was going to get xt-44s.My line of thinking is that you can pull a long copper/lead with a big board, but long coppers wont do so well with small boards...do you have any problems detecting smaller fish with short coppers on a big inline boards?
mattmishler Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 TX-22 for 1 colors of lead to 300 coppers and TX-44 for everything longer, not a problem with see small fish on bigger boards
ChampionShip Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Walleye boards pull 300 with flashers......move the weight to 1.5. I think big yellow birds are easier to deal with than tx44's but I know guys that like both just fine.
BlueCollarOutdoors Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 I got a tx 44 and its doesnt even look likes its doing any work with a 300 copper behind it. We dont let them out all far so getting the board of is the least of your worries, im more afraid of the 300 behind it:)
medic Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 I have the Walleye boards and have never had an issue, Aaron. Just adjust the weight forward and it's good to go..
Aaron_Mcfly Posted May 18, 2012 Author Posted May 18, 2012 thanks for the response!I did get a few walleye boards(20 bucks at a local fleet farm!) and did some tests on a deep local lake and they did great with a 300 on a totally flat lake. I may get something bigger for the bigger waves days.
SCUM LINE Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 I use t-44 for coppers over 300 and the smaller ones for everything esle.. AWSOME
