im making some custom gimbal rod butts for my gander roller rods and I need some dimensions for the pins...

I'll measure one tonight, but I think the pin is only 1/8" dia. 3/16" at the most.

i dont.... it had to be cut off.... getting a cover wont be an issue though.

You could also get some of those rod ends that just slip over the butt while fighting a fish.

It's like a big cushion that slips over the end of the rod.
