Just Hook'n Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 Got out of Holland Friday - left dock at about 1 and got back at about 6:30pm. It got BUMPY on the way home. We couldn't get a troll going any other way that South, just couldn't keep the boat straight goign north. Ended up with 7 keepers and probably threw that many shakers back. Rays raspberry worked again on the rigger and on 300 copper. 200 copper was also working with coyote I think. Flashers and flies did nothing for us, but who knows why. Tried a plug here and there with no takers. All spoon bite. Floated between 100 and 170, best was in closer. Riggers at 80, 300 copper and 200 copper worked the best. Almost forgot to mention. Keith, a good friend and rookie to the big water was with us and did an awesome job. That's him with the smile on his face in the middle. Think he is still smiling today.
N II Deep Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 Good job Mark. Your buddy looks happy. I bet he wants to go again.
