soft top

I just broke one of the ends to a support rod on my soft top. It's those white plastic inserts into the aluminum tube that goes into a bracket and has a screw go through the hole. Hope that makes sense.

Anyway, wondering where in the world do you get that? Do I get the white plastic piece or have to get a whole new tube?

I would call around to places that do canvas work. I had some plastic hardware break for the soft top on our '89 Lund and was unable to track anything down that old. I ended up making something work. We had a fun day out fishing one time with a few too many drinks and my brother tried backing the boat in the garage with the top still up... ooops.

try west marine they carrie them ,or some of your local boat canvas shops . I ordered mine at I boat.com they are really cheap and you can also get them in metal.

Mike try Ann's costom canvas. The number is 616-453-1620. I just got off the phone with them and they have assortment of them.

Anns canvas in walker has everthing and they are reasonable.

I switched mine to Stainless Steel years ago, no more breaking.

Put a bolt or something into the open tube that's got the busted peice in it and push it further up into the tube- then just put the new one where it was.
