Little Kalamazoo Speedway 4-22 - Quarter Midget Racing

We spent the weekend at the Little Kalamazoo Speedway. Both boys raced both days. Hunter races in the Sr. Honda class, and Wyatt raced in the Blue Rookie class. Wyatt was bumped up to Jr. Honda class after Sundays race.

Two weeks ago Hunter was involved in an accident on the track when someone he was passing turned into the side of him. This did a lot of damage to his car. I do not have his car back up to speed yet. I thought I had everything fixed, but discovered the axle was bent also. His car will be up to speed for the next race on 12 May.

Wyatt was on fire all weekend. He won his heat and feature race in the on Saturday, and won his heat and the "Special" 35 lap feature on Sunday. The red rookie and blue rookie classes had "Special" features on Sunday. The prize for winning the "Special" feature is in the picture below.

This is Wyatt's feature race.
