mriversinco Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 I'd really like to get the new boat out and see what she can do but these waves are just killing me.Tomorrow (Tuesday the 24th) they're calling for 4-5 and subsiding to 1-2 for tuesday night. I can't get out until about 4 so would the waves be subsiding? Most importantly, new boat so I don't trust it but would anybody be out there in case I had trouble or is that too many waves on a weeknight to have people out?
Just Hook'n Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 Mike, four words: US BOAT tow insurance. Best money/insurance I ever spent.Had to use it once last year. Would have cost me $800 to get home, instead - free. Of course I did tip the guys for a great job, but it sure wasn't $800.I'm debating taking off Friday as that looks like the nicest day this week, so if you can wait until then we can help if you need it.
fishsniffer Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 another thing to keep in mind..sometimes noaa sucks..it may be 1-2 when they called 4-6..and vice versa

hear fishy fishy Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 Weather is unstable in the spring, compared summer making it hard to forecast. I might go Wednesday night if the wave holds for about a foot or less.
