irwinstabenow Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Are the coho going to come into waters less than 40 ft this year for us small boat long liners?
Priority1 Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Dennis, I know a question like yours is tough to answer. Who knows where they will be tomorrow or next week. All fish seek there comfort zone for temperature and food. This has been one unusual Spring to say the least. If you can't get to them in your boat, I know there are a lot of good people here that would welcome you aboard.
Killin' It Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Dennis,I may have an open seat over the course of the next week if you want to go offshore. There are still fish inside 60 feet that can be long linned. at least out of holland and SH
Nailer Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Welcome aboard Dennis. You may want to finish filling out your profile, to include your location.
EdB Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 They'll be fish inside but I doubt the hoards of coho in close this year like in a typical spring. All the warm weather and a lot moved offshore. I'm sure you can still hit some fish in close. Probably some kings around.
