Just Hook'n Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 Went down for the spring voyage to St Joe. Weather was awesome.Borrowed a buddy's boat and everything worked great. Fishing however, sloooooooow.Fished south of out of chanel in 10-20fow for 3 miles. Picked up and headed to the A frames.Fished south, then north for about 3 miles. Picked up one brown in 15fow on mono with fire tiger thin fin.Picked up shortly after that and dropped just south of the channel figuring we'd give the mud a try - nothing. Skunk out but barely. All in all though it was a safe and enjoyable day on the big pond again and a great start to the season (brown).
part timer Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 Hey Mark,I was down in St. Joe this morning as well. Trolled south in 15-20 fow out of the pier head to just north of the power plant. Nothing except for one small steelhead which was tossed back. Headed north shortly after 12 and had four cohos in 15 minutes. All in 15 ft of water with baits set around 8-10. No bites from 12:15-2:00.Bruce
