I have a 24 ft seasprite and I want to get a Pair of trolling bags, but I don't know what size I should be looking for? I guess I would rather they were too big rather than too small. Also any recomendations were to get them? keep in mind I have a limited budget

Thanks in advance

I had mine made at a local canvas shop. They used pieces of material from larger jobs. They have held up real well and I use them every trip. I fish a lot.:)

I have a 24' Slickcraft and run 2 36" bags, but mine is fiberglass and i'm not sure what difference that would make in desired size. I got mine from Lakeshore Outfitters in Saugatuck. There are also some places online where you can get them.

I am picking up a pair of the Amish Outfitters bags for my 24' Trophy Hardtop. Looking at 36" or 38". I hear that the owner has pretty good advice on size for specific boats.

I got mine from Aaron at Lakeshore. I think I'm pulilng 42" for a 26.5' bayliner.

The bigger the better.

Worst thing that happens if you go a little too big is you burn a very small amount more fuel and keep the plugs in your engine clean.

We run bags almost every trip.

They help with speed, but also help with steering and reduce roll from waves.

Randy, 2 30" bags will do what you want nicely. call Dick Boyajian in Manistee at (231) 723-0013.

Dick is a local retiree who makes an excellent quality trolling bag at a very fair price.

I have 2 of his 30" bags, and 2 times we forgot to pull them in before throttling up. The bags are still as good as new, with no damage. Dick is the best deal you will find.
