I F'ing hate NOAA.

I called off the trip today like an idiot believing the 7-10ft waves forecast.

I was watching the web cams yesterday and thought better (it was nasty as predicted).

Has anyone looked at the cams today?

It's darn near flat.

The wind is just starting to pick up, and I just checked the cam's

Muskegon rough

Grand Haven - breaking over south pier

Holland - is starting to build.

It seems like the wave forecasts in the spring are always overstated. I think the water being colder is denser and it takes a bit more wind to kick up waves in the spring.
