minkota problem

My bow mount foot control minkota is malfunctioning i have power to the unit [i think] the battery check light shows full charge but the prop doesnt spin when activated .any trouble shooting advice would be greatly appreciated:thumb:

Is it cable steer or an electronic foot pedal? I had an electronic one and the connectors would build up corrosion on them and it wouldn't work. I would have to clean the connections real well and put dielectric grease in there to prevent it. Worse case scenario your main control board may be going out.

My foot pedal went bad also (powerdrive). I talked to the guys at Johnson Outdoors, and they gave me a new one.

If that doesn't work, there is a factory repair shop here in GR.

Get out the multitester and start at the motor and see if you have power there when the control is activated. Keep eliminating things step by step.
