GLF Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 How many of you have filled your boat at a marina? I filled the boat yesterday at a marina before I have it pulled for the winter. On my receipt it showed how much I should tip for 10%, 15%, or a 20% tip. Gas is $3.04 per gallon at the marina. The one tank got over filled and there was gas all over the side of my boat. I did not leave a tip. How many of you leave a tip when you have your boat filled at a marina?

silver one Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 We only fill the silver one at the marina if we are slipped for a period of time. other than that we fill it plainwell at the mobile. One advantage to trailering a boat. can save a few bucks at the pump. If they dont spill I leave a tip if they spill I leave nothing.
