I'm in the market for 2 Okuma convector 45d's and 2 Okuma convector 55L's... think there will be some deals at the show in Grand Rapids in 2 weeks?

The first weekend of March is the Outdoorsman's annual spring fishing sale and I know they put all of their Okuma products on sale. Normally they will have the same prices there as you can get at the show.

Not sure when the salmon spring special is at D&R in Kzoo, but they do the same thing.

Always really good deals down there.

I always pick up a few walleye board for 17.99 each down there.

Great time of year to restock.

Can't remember the price on okuma reals, but I do remember getting some GLT copper/leadcore rods for 19.99.

Northwoods outlet 69.99 each. I got my 45 and 55 on sale for 59 a few weeks ago. Give them a call they ship.

Usually outdoorsman has a little better pricing in the store than the show because of having to cover booth space.

As far as deals at the show some of the big names dropped out from last year. Mik Lurch is no longer doing the shows Boardlows fishin hole wasnt at detroit. The names of a couple other places slip my mind now but they were the big salmon booths. The Showspan people ended up giving Franks a huge area from the booths that dropped out to set up ice shanties. And they had more mexican blankets and indian jewelery than i have ever seen at the showspan shows. I havent heard if boardlows is doing grand rapids. AS far as reel prices he is usually the best priced in the show.

I just bought four Convector CV 30D's from Northwoods for $57.99 each. The 45's were $59.99. I sent an email to Franks to see if they would match prices and they offered them to me at $63.99 each.
