Installing new seating

I currently have two lounge seats in the boat and want to pull one out and put in a captains chair. I cannot get underneath the floor to bolt down the pedestal so I not sure how I could mount one in. Suggestions?

If you have enough space below the floor, you can use toggle bolts and not have to access below the floor. I've use toggles before on my boat. They have "Never Drop" toggles from McMaster-Carr (mcmaster.com). They work great.

I put a nice captain's chair at the helm of my boat. My neighbor works at a fastener distribution company. I bought some heavy duty toggles that work awesome. It is the only way I would go. Still as stout as the day I installed.
